Project Page TabsSummary & MeetingsSummary: The Vacation Rental Project consists of a two-fold study of the existing 1.0 XML Message Suite Hotel schema to determine what existing functionality is common to vacation rentals; and from this, create schema specification for any additional and enhanced vacation rental functionality required to be implemented as 2.0 XML Object Suite services, service operations and XML objects. The impetus for this project grew from the rental market trends that Travel Weekly has termed explosive growth due to consolidation of companies offering professional management and marketing in what has traditionally been a highly fragmented product.
